The Tip of the Week

Each week I'll be having another one, or maybe a Tip of the Day when I'm feeling generous So here goes.

Ursula. Don't you just want to beat the s*** out of her? Well, she IS one of the hardest bosses, in my opinion. But there is a way to beat her, and everytime I've done it, seven or eight times, so it's pretty reliable.

Your party should consist of Ariel and Donald. Donald will be useful for casting Aero and Cure and Ariel's attack and defenses are pretty good. Depending on which order you do the worlds in will affect which keyblade you have, and how fast the battle will end. My suggestion is to get as far as you can in Atlantica, battle Ursula two times so you'll see what attacks she has, beat Halloween Town and Neverland, then come back to Atlantica to battle. The keyblade you should have is the Fairy Harp, as it's the most powerful and adds MP. And incase you run out of mp(you'll need it later) and are low on HP, equip about 5 elixirs.

Now when the battle starts, lock on to Ursula and DON'T lock off unless you have to. Now before she has time to attack, whack her with one combo and move away quickly. Ever so often, she'll toss a potion into her cauldron and either glowing sparks will shoot out and hurt you or a cyclone of wind will whip around the arena. When the sparks shoot out, get the heck away from it! And when the cyclone appears, stick to the walls half way up and keep swimming until it calms down.

She only has ONE major physical attack, but the effects are devastating. Her tentacles that are around her fat butt will whip around her as she spins and laughs in her annoying cackle. It won't do you any good to attack, so don't. Instead, keep an eye on her and when she desends, you acsend, and vice versa. Then immediately after she stops, get in there and whack away! Leave Donald and Ariel to handle the eels, because they'll need the MP more than you. But keep an eye on them anyway, because once the eels are temporarily knocked out, press the Triangle button and they will attack Ursula until the eels wake up.

This part was the most bizarre. After you take out all of her HP, you'll find out that she still isn't knocked out yet. The solution(hopefully you have a lot of MP left) is simple. Wait 'till the cauldron turns either red or blue and blast it with the corresponding magic over and over again(the shortcut menu makes it a ton easier) until the battle ends. There you go, you're done!

[Later Today I'll do Ursula pt.2...if it's a chain of multiple battles, I'll do one or two a day]

Okay, Ursula Pt.2

Fantastic. Her butt's bigger than ever. -_-' Anyway, many people have claimed that this is an extremely difficult battle. Not so for me! And now, I'll show you why. As before, lock on to Ursula's head. Strike a few quick combos and then get the heck outta there! Swim with your new "Merman Kick" ability around the cyclone for a few minutes while rapidly mashing Triangle to get your lackeys to attack Ursula. After checking upon her HP and seeing that it has gone down a bar, go behind her head and whack her until she turns around. As she starts to suck you in, use your lovely kick to swim away from the current. Quite useful. Anyway, she'll also try to strike you with lightning. When this happens, keep swimming around until the bolts stop. Then resume the head-whacking until she's dead. Pretty short battle, it took me about seven minutes. Remember, the pattern is: whack, swim, whack, swim, whack, insult, whack, swim, yell of superiority when that squid becomes calamari!!! See, easy as pi! 2.14...um...yeah. [5:01] This is relatively old news, but here is the supposed main title screen for KH2 that I found from kh2.co.uk :

.My Journey.

As stupid as it may sound, my journey through Kingdom Hearts was not unlike Sora's. Well duh, I played the darn dude, but I suppose it was alike in many ways. We gained partners in which we could rely on in times of need, overcame obstacles, sometimes together, sometimes apart, and made the best of our abilities. It was times like these that our potential shown the most.

But uh...we know about him. How 'bout me? On December 27th, 2003, I purchased Kingdom Hearts for the Playstation 2, with no real expectations. It was only another game, one I might just forget about one day. Fortunately, fate would not allow this to happen, as it had happened to many games before. From the first instant the "Dive Into the Heart" sequence began, my doubts disappeared. Truth be told, I had only bought it because it was a best buy for 20$ at...Best Buy...but I got more, much more than my money's worth. I had marveled at the breathtaking sequences, the smooth, superior animations, and the simple beauty of it all.

Soon, this game took up all the empty spaces in my head. I was delighted when I even finished a small quest. To add to my joy, I soon discovered one of my best friends owned this game as well. We decided to discover all it had to offer together. We laughed, we cried, we yelled at the bosses, gasped at the plot twists, screamed at how stupid we were, and we gained so much. <p> On Sept. 18th, we had successfully conquered Kingdom Hearts. We cried even more. Sobbed, wailed, sniffled for about half an hour, everything. And let me tell you, the ending sequence is every moment as beautifully animated as the beginning. Of course, for me, one dose isn't nearly enough. We decided to beat it again, this time, on her memory card. And let me tell you, we are so close I can smell it.

And imagine our ecstacy when we found out that Disney and Square-Enix was teaming up again to create a Sequel!!! Eagerly, we downloaded every teaser and our mouths dropped open every time. But the agony is...we are kept in the dark. No one knows the official release date. But diligently, we shall await the arrival of the Best Sequel since Final Fantasy!~ And so I stand here before you many things. An impatient child, perhaps. An accomplished "button-masher" maybe. Actually...just consider me a Kingdom Hearts-obsessed freak. That suits me just fine.

IT LIVES!!!

Um Yeah...um...hi. There really isn't anything for you to see right here, right now, so I might as well put something here. This site, I hope, will dictate my facination with Kingdom Hearts, which is, in my opinion, one of the best games in the world. I know it's kind of odd, this coming from a girl who obviously should be into...er...like... makeup and clothes, but that's not happening. But anyway, I hope to add some screenshots every once in a while and post news, but this may take a while. In the meantime, I also have another blog on me, http://enchantedspire.blogdrive.com , if you'd like to check it out. That's a bit new too, but if has more stuff on it. But uh...this is pretty nifty, eh? So yeah. I will post more as new information surfaces, so please, keep checking back!  Signing off~Sea

Ooh, now this is spiffy! I now have button-links! I didn't install Photoshop 7.0 on my laptop yet, which is what I'm using right now, so I had to rely on Paint. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself. Anyway, if you want to link back to me, you have three to choose from! Riku is my personal favorite. =D

Oh, and do visit these excellent sites, no?
